Loving the shirt Eddie. Looking forward to NSFW in 2011. Its going to be a kick ass year.

Eddie, mind elaborating on your claim that the EUR will hit 1.80 vs the $. Do you think that the Muni "crisis" will be worse for USA than the Sovereign debt "crisis" is over in Euroland? Or is their some other factor involved that the mainstream financial media hasn't really considered?

looking for that pick-me-up to power through an all-nighter?

I'm skeptical on the Euro hitting $1.80. Between the Ireland problem and potential problems with Italy, I can actually see the dollar strengthening against the Euro. But as you mentioned with the expected dollar decline, are you saying Gold is a safe bet?

1.80 EURUSD ?!

Come on Eddie! I am not discounting the $'s problems, but dayummmm sir. Youre talking about an unprecedented new all time high for the Eur based on the fact that USD weakness is the theme for 2011. I dont disagree it will be interesting to see major EUR pairs and their moves, but im more inclined to see further CAD strengthening vs the USD. The EUR is simply too fked and the real s hit will hit the fan around early-mid 2011 once Spain further fails to raise sufficient capital at low yields.

Either way, good video, and lol @ Bad Santa.

Okay, let me clear this up because you guys are right. The Euro is a weak POS, so it probably wasn't the best currency to use to illustrate my projected weakness in the dollar. I just used it because EUR-USD is a benchmark everyone is used to seeing.

Better currencies to play would be the Loonie, the Aussie dollar, the Yen, etc...

I didn't mean to imply strength in the Euro for all the reasons you've listed, I merely expect around a 40% decline in the dollar in 2011.

Excellent selection on Dixie Beer!

Even though the brewery was destroyed in Katrina and has yet to be rebuilt they make the same recipe in Wisconsin (probably makes it a little better with the water up there to be honest) on the Dixie Beer label. As a West Point guy I love the history of the beer and it tastes amazing. Every time I get a case shipped to me in Richmond, I end up drinking it in 48 hours.

On a beer related side note, Eddie, pick up 4 hour body by Tim Ferriss. I largely believed 4 hour work week was bullshit but the new book is pretty awesome and I plan to try out a couple of the chapters in the next year. One is about losing weight outside of traditional calories in vs. calories out.....just saying.

I'm already half-way through the book, and I'm gonna be slow carbing my ass off in the new year.

My father-in-law retired from Dixie, so it's something of a family label. I love the stuff, but I love Blackened Voodoo even more (I've always been a dark beer guy). Dixie's the call whenever I'm in the Big Easy (either that or Abita).
