Opinion Needed - Is this cheating?
I asked my friend this but she doesn't seem to answer truthfully and I don't want her to know I was the "other guy" in this scenario:
Girl has a boyfriend. She goes to a bar and makes out with another guy (me). No sexual intercourse took place, just a sloppy makeout session. Would you consider that cheating?

If you did not know of the boyfriend prior to the hookup, I would consider that cheating on her part but not yours. If you knew about/actually knew the boyfriend prior to to hookup, it's cheating on both of your parts.It's bad form on her part to do that, and it's bad form on your part when you know she is in a relationship.
Although I know it's puritanical, you've hooked up with a girl who is in a relationship. It sounds like you knew she was in a relationship and you wonder whether it's cheating? That is pretty fucking scuzzy man. If you didn't know, that really becomes one thing to consider, but that doesn't sound like it in this case. What you did was wrong, and either you bury it or you man up and own the mistake. It all depends on whether owning up to the mistake is worth the damage it may cause.
Trust me, being the boyfriend and finding out is not a fun thing to have happen to you. I speak from first hand experience on that one.

She cheated. That is her problem. If you know about it, yeah, its a dick move, but honestly, if she didn't want to cheat she wouldn't have hooked up with you.
