Profile evaluation - MFin LBS, ESSEC, LSE, Oxford, St Gallen, Bocconi
Hey guys,
Planning to do a Masters in Finance from a top B-School in EU to get into AM / PE / IB (preferably London)
Profile:
- Bsc. Finance with a 3/4 GPA (doesn’t do me well for academic focused schools)
- 4 years of work experience in Credit Research (EU focused)
- Passed CFA L1 and FRM L1 (more inclined towards completing FRM this year as CFA course duplication very high with by bachelors so want to add quant fin skills via FRM)
- GMAT: Targeting 700-720
Had a profile review with LBS MFin admissions team and received a positive response stating an application is encouraged as basic requirements are met
Just wondering what are my chances in the top B-Schools in Europe for MFin? (2023 intake)
Will my GMAT target score suffice or should I target for more?
Any other suggestions would really help me a lot!
Cheers!
where are you trying to get to
Of the names I mentioned, I prefer LBS or Essec. Not eligible for HEC as they prefer students with work ex less than 3 years
I mean career wise
Planning for Asset Management roles (Credit buy side) but still open to explore PE or IB. Do you think its important for me to have a fixed goal before applications?
