Edmundo BravermanOnly one bar you need to know. Lefty O'Douls in Union Square. $3.50 Sierra Nevada pints, local talent, and hofbrau food when you have the munchies.

Anything else in that town is a waste of time and money.

EDIT: Depending on your mood, the O'Farrell Theater is also worthwhile. A piece of SF history.

This.

Also, if you haven't built up any antibodies to the hipster race, then I would strongly recommend you stay out of the Mission. If for some reason you find yourself in the Mission and you're trying to get with any of the locals, then remember that you have no idea what finance is and you actually work for a non-profit.

The Marina is your friend.

It's Tuesday, so it's hard to know what's hopping. For the Marina, catch a cab to the intersection of Lombard and Fillmore. Walk south on Fillmore and you'll see City Tavern, Matrix Fillmore, etc. If those spots are dead, go north and cross Lombard until you get to Chestnut and head west. Tons of pubs in that area. Area around Tipsy Pig is normally busy.

There's a thai sports bar called "king of thai" that has relatively cheap beer/mixed drinks. I usually go there to pre-game/ hang out with the crowed then off to place like infusion lounge(or was it called fusion lounge? cant remember)

Place by the name of Blue light in the marina gets pretty crowded for Taco Tuesday, its on Union and Buchanan, across the street is bar none, lots of frat bros though and Nick's crispy taco is pretty crowded for Taco tuesday as well, Polk and Broadway is where thats at, best bet is Marina though in my opinion.

greenapplewhere's the optimal crowd for new analysts in SF? i'm pretty new here and everywhere I go people are late 20s and older. im trying to find some fresh-out-of-college tail

Marina. In general, SF isn't the best place for talent though... too cold.

San Francisco is boring. IMO.

The "crowd" in SF is unbearable and laughable compared to other large cities. Nothing fabulous about it. Boring unattractive nerds.
