Stock Pitch Competitions

Starting to see these pop up. For those who have won them, how much of the pitch is grounded in what you think vs. sell-side? Is the pitch fully being driven like a MM pod, or is it more about other aspects?

Also, how do you describe these on a resume? Do you put line items just under a club if you pitched the stock there? Or do you create a new section in your 'extracurriculars' section for these competitions and talk about what you worked on for the pitch? Do you still put them if you were just a participant/finalist, or only if you won?

Would love to also hear how these have been useful in interviews!

All input is appreciated! Just curious
