Tax Savings Living in NJ commute to NYC
Considering moving to NJ for tax savings.
Is it true I would avoid paying city tax? Assuming 110k base that would = ~4K a year in tax savings.
Anyone have personal experience with this?
Thanks !

Yes this is true. You also save ~1% due to NJ tax being lower than NY state tax. However, you need to weigh the negatives, such as fewer/limited transit options with the PATH
