Thank you pussy galore!

As a frequent and long-term WSO man, I have seen the rise of many a user. Despite ignoring 99% of usernames on this site, one keeps coming up. A man who has cemented his legacy onto the site and has permanently altered my brain chemistry, for better or for worse (definitely worse).

Some men are men of mystery, seeking only to speak when needed and using as few words as possible. Some men seek fame and fortune, women, clout or even silver bananas. Some men aren't even on the wavelength of having the brain capacity of using a computer and, thus, aren't even in discussion. None of these attributes apply to our man as he is truly unique. He seeks no silver bananas or fame or clout. He has the brain capacity to use a computer AND this website. He is no man of mystery, preferring to let his opinions known far and wide: his work history, his experiences, his knowledge.

That man is none other than pussy galore.

Before the IPO of Goldman Sachs, GS was a firm of mystery. Something that a middle class person could only imagine. What goes on there? What is this mysterious bank that I can't even open a checking's account with? What is investment banking? Is it making investments? So many questions yet so few answers. One could only hope they could see the fleeting feet of a man walking into 200 West as he or she disappeared into the doors. Today? We have unlimited information about what goes on at the firm thanks to none other than pussy galore through his posts on Wallstreet Oasis.

Mr. Galore (or do you prefer Mr. Pussy?), thank you for enlightening us on every post by allowing us to be within your presence, a highly esteemed former Goldman Sachs trader and former Citadel trader. Thank you for being the reason that every time a comment is made I automatically check to see the username because if I see the username "pussy galore" I know I will be enlightened as I will be told about his work experience at Goldman and Citadel before he was fired. Every single post with pussy galore as the writer, I know I will learn a lesson today and it will be a lesson on another successful/famous person that pussy galore as worked with. Whether it be Gregg Lemkau, the heads of IBD at Goldman, the head of KKR or whatever firm he wishes to flex oops I mean educate us on this week.

Pussy galore, thank you for your contributions to this forum because without you, I wouldn't be able to read "I used to work at GS and Citadel and I know X successful person and I think everyone deserves to be fired" on every single thread that I click on. You may be wondering, wow with a short but impressive career like that what knowledge does he share? What does he type after that?? That's the best part. He doesn't! My brain chemistry has been altered and it is all thanks to you.

I think today, we all have a little bit of pussy galore in us. Today we are all former GS and Citadel employees.

Andy and Patrick want me to share my story. It's pretty wild and mostly an accident.

I also have Isiah and some other bros we're trying to plan an NYC meet up at some point this year. DM me your phone number and I can add to the list. I will get Andy and Patrick as well.

I'm way more normal than I appear on this website lmfao.

Thanks for the laugh. I had a heart attack when I saw this on "Recent Activity."

I have a friend who used to work in HFT Equities at Citadel. Very smart guy and self taught - he had no comp sci degree or business degree, his undergrad major was biochemistry.

If Mr Galore indeed has worked at both Goldman and Citadel, then he has more insight than most that post on here - regardless of delivery.  I'm not sure I've noticed the undertones of condescension that you've described but that's probably because I'm so inundated by prestige-whoring prospects' condescension on here that it drowns his out and surely his deserves to be heard over theirs.

Some unsolicited advice:

1) if you have been successful in your career then use that to help people on here. Most of the posts I see you contribute to aren’t helpful or additive. What are you trying to get out of being on WSO? Or what are you trying to contribute? From your posts just looks like an outlet for you to brag to a random group of people

2) I hope what you say about your professional life vs WSO is true, because you come off as someone with a real need for validation and like you have some issues (confidence, reading a room, etc)

3) this email is a perfect example, what are you doing with this? The email itself makes it seem like Lloyd is being nice to someone who reached out with crazy talk. Do you think this proves something? You want people to congratulate you for getting an email? Again, if you are successful you don’t need to keep reminding people or showing them, it comes off in your interactions.

I can’t get off this website for 2 seconds without something wild popping off

A user who consistently flexes his career path and posts at best "mid" content is being sarcastically honored by OP for his D- grade contributions to the site. It is because he is famous for A. flexing his GS / Citadel work history and B. commenting "everyone deserves to be fired at some point" on every single thread where he can find a way to work in either or both ideally.

While we're here, I'd just like to highlight Deal Team Six, Pierogi Equities, and of course wolfofwso for single-handedly being the best three consistent contributors on this site that I've interacted with. You all have been around here a lot longer than I have, but in my limited tenure here, gotta say you all hit top three. Oh, gotta throw Isaiah in there too, of course.

Hope you enjoy the brown-nosing. Enjoy the week!
