All Died - Three New Yorkers Ordered Cocaine From the Same Delivery Service

“Ross Mtangi, a trading executive at Credit Suisse Group AG, left his Manhattan penthouse in March 2021 with his laptop and told his pregnant partner he was going to work.

He checked into a nearby hotel and tuned in to work calls. Later, he texted for cocaine from a drug delivery service. A man wearing a baseball cap, cross-body bag and face mask appeared on hotel surveillance….”

If Omar was alive, this drug dealer would have never delivered the goods in the first place

Did you read the article? Apparently people from all walks of life in NYC are using. Never occurred to me either.

Weird to think how many MDs do coke regularly

My friend from college interned at a NYC shop and commented when coming back to school how much coke they would do and he wasn't into it. Then we all move to NYC and he is in IB and loving coke. In fact, he liked it so much that he always had to find some at midnight or 1am to 'keep going'. Now he is an MD at MS/GS.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I swear people do coke just to fit in and be cool, because the drug by itself is super fucking overrated.. on top of being expensive, and a major health concern given it’s been stomped on 9 times before it gets to your nose

Exactly - it was extremely common just a few years ago when I was in college, but seems like it’s toned down a bit even w the frat stars as even they understand how dangerous fentanyl is

Given the dangers of fentanyl, you've got to be stupid doing hard drugs these days......it was not a good idea a decade ago but now it is downright stupid.

Two decades ago at least. Even before this fentanyl situation. Have had enough friends die from OD on the white stuff before this kicked in and make it worse. Sip some scotch or bourbon, do a bit of 420, but this? Hell to the no. Same for the others like MDMA or LSD. Literally rots your brain.

Old best friend managed a bar and picked up so many bags of the white stuff every night and went straight to the bathroom to flush them. It wasn't about selling it in his bar, it was straight up about not wanting people to use it. Period.
