It's no secret that everyone who is named Alexander (great, powerful name) goes by Alex (lame, weak name that's also a gender neutral mess). Sadly that bumps it down quite a bit.

Other names that guarantees your kid will pull:

- Colt

- Chet 

- Walker

 

Maybe, but naming your kid any of these names when you have no connection to them or aren't prestigious yourself is just naked social climbing.

Legacy names that have been passed down in your family for generations are the most prestigious of all. Example, I am Yankee Doodle III. Therefore I am obligated to name my kid Yankee Doodle so he is Yankee Doodle IV. Now we have a dynasty.
