Check out MBS (marina bay sands). It just opened, and entrance is free for tourists. Neighbouring islands and countries like Malaysia and Indonesia are pretty surreal too.

yea, that area is pretty awesome. check places like Sentosa and there're loads of nice chinese/malay/indian food around

go to: little india and holland village for nice food
chill at café del mar at Sentosa beach
sleep either at MBS (best place to be) or the Swiss Hotel (best view)
shop at ION (orchard read)

Honestly, I'd say that Singapore's -not- a good place for a vacation. There isn't really anything you can do here that you can't do somewhere else, and probably for cheaper.
Well, I guess there's the food. Nobody's going to eat for 16 hours straight in a day, though. Unless...
