Yes, it is a sad day indeed.  It’s hard to fathom that we have a guy in office that incited an insurrection against his own legislative branch, forcing the US Capitol to fortify like the Baghdad Green Zone.

It looks like people here do not know how to use their words

what a good use of time by the government in the middle of a pandemic with millions of people unemployed

What you are saying is akin to blaming a victim for a rape. Congress does not deserve the blame here.

I'm more intrigued by the fact that Pelosi is absent from these proceedings. You'd think she'd be milking it for as much screen time as she can. I wonder what's going on in the background.

They should have censured Trump instead and kept their focus on a smooth transition to a Biden administration.

While we're at it, shouldn't AOC also be impeached, since she lead a group of 200 protestors into Pelosi's office a year back? 51 of them were arrested after all...

I can’t believe there is so much MAGA on this site, seems like there aren’t many traditional republicans left.  trump being not only the worst president in our nation’s history, but a seditionist is costing the party big bucks.  This is one reason that McConnell may vote to convict. trump is a cancer on the nation and the party.  I never thought I’d see a president and masses of citizens who support the sacking of the US Capitol, insurrection, and harm to federal workers and elected officials.

I don't actually think that there is much MAGA on this site. There are a bunch of people that are so sick of the far Left that they are forced to side with the MAGA crowd, but I really haven't seen many true pepe the frog types on here.
