Wedding suit rentals?

Married / engaged men, what suit rental sites have ya’ll used? Looks like there are a couple that make it easy, like blacktux.com

Welcome any suggestions / tips. In a T1 major city, so fitting will be easy for me and most of the grooms men.

While we’re at it, any registry items that you’re glad you asked for? Most of the things I want are kitchen related; All Clad pans, knives (will probably build my own set of Japanese knives), baking pans, etc.

I used black tux back in 2020. It was great. As a skinny guy with wide shoulders (former swimmer) I have a terrible time finding dress clothes that fit so I ended up keeping the suit for some nominal extra fee (I think it was about $100 extra). It’s held up well and I still have it.

Excellent, this is good to hear. I likely have a similar build to you (due to former swimming as well plus other sports).

Do you remember if you used their dress shirts also? If so, did the slim fit work? Or just the suit and pants?

Black Tux worked out well - was easy to go in and get fitted, and didn't have many issues. Some had fitting challenges, but they were pretty good at resolving them quickly. Yes on the shoes and everything else - I simply setup the 'kit' online, all they had to do was order and that was that.

I didn't personally wear one from there - I got one made from Enzo Custom, that I would pretty highly recommend - they did a fantastic job fit wise, if you are in the market for custom stuff.

Update: Used black tux. decent service - i ended up buying my shirt, jacket, and pants. My groomsmen rented their stuff, and unfort they got rashes on their necks from the shirts (likely from intense chemicals used in cleaning...) overall 7/10 for the price point and service

That doesn’t really work if your tux is black with a peak collar and your buddy’s tuxes for his wedding are all midnight blue with shawl collars.

You’re not renting a tux to get married. You’re renting a tux to get your boys married.
