What do you like from McDonalds?

McDonald's is pretty successful. Most people eat there occasionally. What do you get from there?

Some breakfast favorites:
- Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit
- Egg McMuffin
- Sausage McMuffin
- Sausage McMuffin with egg
- Sausage Biscuit
- Sausage Biscuit with egg
- Hashbrown
- Their pancakes are tasty too, but I don't order them often

Lunch:
- Quarter pounder with bacon and cheese

Coffee:
- Plain latte

Fries:
Ok, but don't really order them alot and prefer Wendy's, 5 guys or CFA fries. 5 guys has a much better burger though, but that's a different story....

Double 1/4 pounder with cheese, large fries, apple pie/choc sundae depending on takeaway or eat in. Tend to just get water for the drink because I don't really have soda anymore, but back in the day would've been a coke.

Where I'm from (non-US) all the traditional fast food joints have really improved in the last 10-15 years. Fresh ingredients, clean restaurants, sometimes even table service. The exception to this is KFC where everything from the food to the pay terminal being greasy seems to be part of the decor.

Yeah I feel like McD breakfast is out of this world when hungover.

McDonalds is a spot for the triathlete Sam Long. When you're burning a ton of calories it is the spot to hit.

The Oreo McFlurry is pretty good

Since I´m a burger junkie, obviously their special burgers, here´s my top list of the rest:

>McRösti (a gift from Alpine Santa himself)

>McRib (always available in my native country)

>Big Tasty Bacon

>Bic Mac, my go to order

For the rest:

>McFlurry Oreos

>Apple hot pocket

McNuggets are delicious but do I ever feel bad eating them, it´s nothing but trash.

I used to do these epic cheat meals like 12 years ago when I was on that bodybuilding shit. My first cut was on keto before people knew keto and only Evan Centopani was talking about it and I had these weekly cheat meals... Carb-ups, I'd call them. The truth is, I just wanted to eat something other than dry chicken. I'd give myself an hour to eat whatever I want. I'd prepare for this for like 3 hours. It would always be late at night and I'd go to Jewel and pick up a bunch of junk food, fried chicken and shit from the prepped food area, and I'd hit up Burger King, Wendy's, AND McD'd, Sometimes Culver's too. I'd also sometimes get every item on Taco Bell's dollar menu for fun. I'd go home, smoke a few bowls, sit at my desk watching a movie on my monitor and just gorge.

Anyway, I hadn't had McDonald's in a decade. I had it the other month. I had that thing where the memory of a nostalgic smell entered my face and it was as if I had actually smelled it. I ordered a bunch of shit off the breakfast menu. It was all so bad. It wasn't even like food. The "syrup" injectable chemical flavor shit is disgusting. They even feel like cardboard in your hand. If you let leftovers sit out, they kind of self-mummify within like 2 hours. I had one bite of each thing I ordered and put it down. The disappointment progressed. First, to disgust. Then, to outright wonder! It makes sense that poor people eat it I suppose. I don't think I'll ever have that trash again. My wife still orders chicken nuggets and diet coke sometimes and I make fun of her for it lol

McDonalds sprite does taste really good - although I haven't had it in years. It tastes way better than bottled sprite as bottled sprite is a bit bubbly. I like canned sprite better than bottled sprite, but I think McD sprite is the best. I think it has to do with the ratio they use in their syrup.

Fresh nuggies and large fries. Must be consumed within 15 minutes of leaving the window or it becomes inedible for me, but those are 15 minutes of pure Nirvana.

McDouble is the best price to protein to calorie to satisfaction ratio out there. It’s actually great after late afternoon workout

Chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. Medium to large fries (IMO best fast food fries when served hot, not sure if Five Guys is more "fast casual" but gives McDonald's a run for its money). I actually really like the classic vanilla cone (and think it's like 200 calories) in the summer. Goes well with the warm apple pies.

When I was in high school, I'd get the McChicken with bacon and honey mustard (latter replacing the mayo).

I think their coffee is pretty good, and it only costs like $1.50. An egg and cheese McMuffin with a hashbrown in the middle isn't bad either when you're in a pinch. Haven't had any of their meat products in well over 10 years though, that shit is gnarly.

Quarter Pounder probably for the burgers.

McChicken, idk why I like it so much.

I think their fries are still the gold standard for real fast food fries.

Nuggets are ok.

Coffee isn't bad.

Egg McMuffin is probably their best menu item for me though, pissed it's not offered 24/7 where I live.

I liked the ham and cheeses in Hong Kong MCD.

Haven’t seen it on menus lately but I used to love the steak egg and cheese on a bagel. Hash browns are bomb. Also use to love snack wraps there and of course their fries are a staple.

Gross dude - steak from McD? If there is one thing I don't like, it is mediocre steak. I wouldn't even attempt to order that meat from there. Wow bro. Wow.

Hash browns are bomb.

The hash browns are the shit. I like ketchup on mine, but sometimes I'm so hungry I eat the whole thing in 2-3 bites as I'm starving....

Hash browns are bomb.

I think I could live on them + ketchup. And beer.

I feel like McDonalds has improved in quality over the years. It used to be shitty fast food when I was growing up in the 90s. They are pretty tasty overall now. They have scientifically analyzed the menu and each item to be pleasing to the taste buds. Even the drink of coke versus the french fry. It is scientifically formulated to please you. The key to McDonald's success is their ability to analyze customer tastes and satisfaction. For a new product to be on the menu, it has to go through much development and trials.

I feel like there is a superior option for anything that I would want to eat at McDonald's. The only thing that I would want to eat at McDonald's that cannot be found elsewhere is the soft serve ice cream, and the machine is often 'broken'. Better hamburger = Five Guys. Better fries = Five guys. Now that I think about it I actually don't mind the nuggets, they aren't bad. But it will never be my first choice, or even a top choice.

Yeah Five Guys is superior for burgers and fries. But, Five Guys isn't everywhere and not in Airports or Truck stops, etc.

Hot cakes and hash browns

Chicken chorizo burrito with the salsa is the shiz nitz.

McRib

And fries with sweet and sour sauce.

I was headed to the beach with my Mom today and stopped by McD - it was really good (had a Bacon Cheese Quarter pounder and Bacon McDouble). Then after the beach went for some BBQ (pulled pork). My favorite BBQ place in the nation is right across the street from where I live. Niiiiiceeee.

I rarely stop by McD except when traveling. I got a latte today and they put sugar in it - like a lot of sugar. I ordered plain and it was just too much - disappointing.

Bro - sausage egg and cheese McMuffin with a yogurt parfait and orange juice. Clutch breakfast

Double cheeseburger with medium Fry and a coke

Chocolate fudge Sundays are my MF jam. Used to get those all the time with Gramma when she was still around. They still make me think about her every time I get one

in the college days I would smash 4 sausage egg mcmuffins, 2 hash browns and a large coffee.

Also - Not McD's and not an East coast thing (I think) but Carl's Jr is fucking kickin too

- Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star, large chocolate shake and curly fries.

Safe to say we crossed 3 bills that year lmao

Carl's Jr on the East Coast is Hardee's (same parent co), I think the menu is almost exactly the same.
