What number of internships are enough

If you want to break into management consulting (MBB) what is the optimal number of internships one should have? (assuming that MBB firms only look for full-time position out of an undergrad, not for an internship)

P.s. I know the more, the better but want to know the approximate number.

P.s. Answers for IB are also relevant.

Thanks

Northeastern has a ton of internships.

I've seen friends get MBB offers anywhere from 1 to 6 internships. But all of them they had eye-popping resumes when you factored in academics and extra-curriculars

WAM 85+, GPA 3.8+, deans lister for multiple semesters or awarded scholarships. Founder/President/Vicepresident at some random club, case comp champion, high position at a consulting club managing real clients, started own business, competed in something at a national level, featured on newspaper for something etc etc
