What tasty uncommon food items have you tried over the past year?
For me, it's been smoked oysters on crackers and cheese. Also pork belly banh mi.

Authentic dim sum in Hong Kong last year, like chicken feet. Sea urchin in Japan also. Head cheese (which isn't uncommon for me but is definitely weird for people not accustomed to it, very risky google image search) that my parents have every so often.
