What was your first experience trading contracts?
I was going to purchase a contract on a stock for a certain retail/ hobby company that is not doing so hot and hasn't been for a while . It is a bit beyond the budget I gave myself so I am thinking it a bit more while I learn how to exit the position and avoid eating shit if I am marked as a day trader after a good earnings call.
Meanwhile I'd like to hear your stories about your first time.
