If you had enough internal admissions data from universities, you could probably actually answer this question empirically.
Doesn't matter because the AA case is going to be heard by Supreme Court around October with results announced in Spring 2023 (5 justices are against it with potentially 1 more who is also against). Only one more cycle of diversity / AA in higher ed and then it's back to merit
