Swedish. House. Mafia. -not a band or a singer but the truth.

If a band... I suppose The Decemberists or The National

Do you like The Who? Maybe it's because I saw them live twice before I even turned twenty, but I seriously don't know what I would do without those guys.

caveat_emptorI second The National. Boxer is an all around amazing album.

Check out the new Decemberists stuff.

+1 on both.

Check out The Antlers and Broken Social Scene as well

Nofx.

Also, this thread depresses me.

Still not sure if I want to spend the next 30+ years grinding away in corporate finance and the WSO dream chase or look to have enough passive income to live simply and work minimally.

I used to hate that. Would end up listening to podcasts on my headset all day. Then, I realized people assume you're on a call and don't bother you when you do that, so I started doing that all day every day. Just get a pair for $7 at Walgreens and keep them in your desk. I've done the research and I think these are the highest quality earbuds you can get for the money:

My first pair has thousands of hours on them and still going strong. I keep a pair in every bag I use, at every desk, and in both cars. I won't buy expensive earbuds or sunglasses. Those are things I'll never stop losing.
