Why do girls deceive on dating apps?

Went on a date with a girl Saturday. She wasn't a 10 but I thought she was decent enough to at least see if she was worth it.

Bitch looked like she could play linebacker for the Bears. Looked nothing like any of the pics she posted (no pics because I deleted the app and I'm not getting back on that shite ever again).

Why do that to yourself? Now I have to ghost her and she will get her feelings hurt. What do they think is going to happen when they show up looking like Amy Schumer?

Funniest

Based off OP's description I don't think this girl will bother chasing down anything other than a Mister Softee truck

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

If you are looking for 35-40s ''want family one day'', mentally unstable, ''hobbies: travelling'' types, sure.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Humans do this. We try to shoot a little above where we're at cause that's just what we do. It's a valid strategy for a lot of stuff. That chick's probably fucking and you're not though so mission accomplished.

She wasn't a 10? Bro you only see 10s? LOL

I got catfished by a whale too a while ago. Surprised I didn't still hit. Really unlike me. She must have been truly terrible.

heister: Look at all these wannabe richies hating on an expensive salad. https://arthuxtable.com/

This is why I just get their Snapchat first and exchange a few pics. Obviously don't snap/text too much in general but it helps to get an idea. This happened to me once and I just straight up ghosted.

As a finance guy, I ran the stats one time on this with my own experiences. I found that something like 50% look about the same as their pics, 25% look materially better than their photos, and 25% look materially worse than their photos.

Weirdly enough, the best looking girls I've dated off dating apps have far undersold their attractiveness in their photos. This one girl was an absolute, otherwordly smokeshow who looked so average in her photos that I was tempted to blow her off on date 1, but I showed up and was just...taken aback. She and I dated off and on for 6 months.

This is so funny - what's worse is when you realize they wear those bodysuits that go up to the chest..almost like sausage casing LMAO

Man girls have it so easy. They can wear absurd amounts of make up, use filters, get ass injections / fake titties etc etc. Guys are either good looking or you’re fkn rekkkttt. I remember my first time getting catfished. I was back home freshman summer from college, and I just started swiping on tinder. I matched with a chick and agreed to link up the following night. She looked like a hard 7, and was dtf, so that was good enough for me. I was none the wiser about the elusive face-only-photos and top down angles yet. I pull up and it’s this mini fridge built chick with 1/4 inch thick bifocals. Tried to bite the bullet and go through with it. What finally made me say fuck that ? We walk into her apartment and she has a Pomeranian and the whole fucking place smells like wet dog. I pretended to go get condoms from my car and got the fuck out of there.
