Why does the news never focus on minority-on-minority hate crimes?
There’s practically no published language highlighting minority-on-minority hate crimes, which is strange and alarming, given the fact that many hate crimes are committed by other minority groups. Also, there’s a lot of coverage on how people are killed by cops but there’s practically no coverage on how cops are killed by criminals, making the news coverage very one-sided. Given that it is news agencies’ job to report facts indiscriminately, why don’t we see topics being covered more fairly?
Because the news is first and foremost a business. Nobody is gonna read about gangsters and hookers being killed except for fans of the Wire or Sopranos. Sad for the people who lose their lives in that manner but true
Because the news has turned into a 24/7 shock and awe campaign.
In fact, viewers of CNN have decreased since Trump left office:

Definitely not to Fox. Probably other forms of entertainment television - maybe more Netflix, Amazon Prime video, and other cable TV.

There was a time when CNN provided content that was arguably better researched and more objective than you local city news station... but that was after the Walter Croncites(sp?) of the world had disappeared.
Grab a copy of Bernard Goldbergs book "Bias in the Media" New York /Washington based NBC, ABC, CBS have been shifting to the left for decades..
NBC has gotten far worse since it was passed from GE to Comcast. About a year and a half ago the infection began to affect CNBC to the point I stopped watching it most of the time...At least with Bloomberg I know where they stand.
Journalistic integrity has largly gone out the window since Media types have started considering themselves "stars" and seem to assume that the public wants there opinion as opposed to the unbiased information....

They just passed a new hate crime bill. I guarantee that when black people start getting arrested for committing hate crimes against Asians, there's going to be another reckoning about police overreach. Progressives and the mainstream media are some of the most disingenuous, malicious groups in this country. They ought to be ashamed.

Can't tell you the number of far left soyboys that argue that communism works but just that every time it failed (over a dozen times at least) it wans't 'implemented correctly'. You can't reason with people like this. Focus on things in your control - making a ton of money / being successful / having a great non-work life / good relationships with fam / etc. When this country grows to be intolerable, jump ship to a more welcoming country (i.e. Singapore / Australia). That said, this will take decades so that's at least nice
