she must be just dumb or naive?

Tbh Nazi stuff doesn't carry the same stigma it does outside of the West. They view Hitler as just another crazy conqueror, similar to how we in the West view Ghengis Khan. I'd reckon most people in Asia haven't even heard of the Holocaust. World War II to them is all about the fight against Japan (where the Rising Sun Flag is considered more offensive than the swastika)

If I had to guess, she is cosplaying.

How many people swipe right because she's an Asian girl in Nazi attire is the real question.

I never bothered to fact check this, but someone told me that it's very common for white nationalist and neonazi figureheads to have Asian SOs. Maybe this girl has a target audience in mind. Kind of a messed up situation regardless

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

"earthwalker7" Just because you're tied to porch doesn't mean you don't bark at passing cars. I look but don't act. I have a veritable collection of linked, but never contacted, contacts. Helps with general boredom.

Yikes.

Ohoho the stereotype of the disloyal liberal.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Word of warning from an experience of a friend. He was on Tinder while he had a gf and matched with one of her friends, (aimlessly swiping and didnt know they knew each other) and she told the gf. Needlessly it didn't end well. Small world out there as you probably know!

Go all the way

If you wanted to offend Asian people with World War II stuff, walk around as an Imperial Japanese Army solider.

In many Asian countries and religions (Hiduism, Bhuddism, and Jainism) the swastika is a symbol of auspiciousness.

It has been used by these groups for thousands of years, long before the Nazi's/Hitler. The way I tell the difference is when it is displayed as a diamond, points facing up and down( bad) if it is displayed as a square and the sides resting flat (good).

It has been noted that Hitler stole the symbol from one of these groups. In the Western world it only has one meaning.

Fine but bro she is literally wearing a military-ish uniform. I don't think that symbol means peace on her uniform.

Yeah, like said above, Asians don´t really see the cultural baggage associated with it. And tbh, constantly getting their butt hurt about WW2 and the NS regime is really mostly restricted to my leaders, you Muricans and a certain tribe.

I don't think that is a fair statement. There are plenty of older Chinese who get extremely butt hurt about the Rape of Nanjing. Most Americans don't really get rowdy about it but but Chinese do, I would say it is the equivalent.

East Asia has quite a high number of wars with extreme death tolls to begin with, compared to many regions, so they might not see it as something special. Sure the Chinese hate Japan for WW2, but those have always hated each other. Same with Korea, they are used to it.

There isn't much of awareness or public memorial for non-Asian catastrophe, unlike the West where modern cultural identity has reached the point that negative elements are all that matters.

Also lol at people posting CNN as a legit source.

I'd recommend not trying to defend them. But if you really want to have a go..

We have state-controlled media here. But even them do not sound so blatantly in unisono like your "free press". There´s a nice video floating around overlapping literally dozens of news stations who all repeat the same "concerned" message that Trump will slander and discredit the media. Guess fucking what? They discredited themselves and deserve all the mistrust now going against them.
