WSO App Sucks

Is it just me, or does it seem like the functionality and UI of the WSO app is not at all on par with most big apps out there? Posting content seems pretty buggy (either weird formatting or a post is just deleted altogether). Plus there’s an update pop-up that comes up on a daily basis. Wtf is that? Update the app through the damn App Store like every other app in the world. And those are just the basics - existing features that don’t work properly. I’m not even getting into all sorts of functionality that exists elsewhere but is just outright missing on here. I guess I’m just surprised since it feels like there’s a pretty sizable WSO community and the platform is pretty fitting for an app - they didn’t need to get creative and reinvent the wheel in any way, and yet this app feels like it’s from 2007.

We asked the site to build the app to increase engagement....but notifications don't work. They are putting a damper on their own DAUs/MAUs because they don't have a good notification system for replys - so the only time you go back to the app is if you think to, as opposed to if you're prompted by a reply notification like FB/IG/Reddit, etc.
