WSO search function needs a revamp
Just a quick rant to get this off my mind. The WSO search function has got to be one of the worst I've seen in a while.
You guys have incredible content, content I would love to refer back to at some point in time. However, when I search something like "Lateral Hire from T2 to MBB" I get a billion posts containing the word "from" as the most "relevant" to my search.
I could count numerous times where I said: screw it, let me just check Google's history and see if I can pinpoint the day or month I pulled up the post. It just barely works for posts I've seen, but obviously, if I have a common question or problem that I know others have dealt with, it'd be great to search it in WSO before starting a new discussion to get the same information.
Seriously guys, just try finding any post, type out the title, and see how difficult it is.
I think they're doing the best they can with it being a free platform and no ads but yeah, you have a point. Maybe someone who's gotten help from here could help out :) Would love to but I can't write a line of code to save my life.
Just google site:wallstreetoasis.com
yeah just do this. WSO doesn't even need a search function when this capability exists. Let google do the work. Bow down to our google overlords
I didn't know about this - I'll try this from now on.
