Xbox or PlayStation?

Not sure if this forum has many folks who play video games but giving this a shot. Don’t come at me with “PC” as an answer unless you’re also saying which console you’d prefer as well.

I’m an Xbox guy. Playing a fuckton of halo MCC lately (huge nostalgia). Complete lockdown in my current city (Toronto), and a quiet looking weekend so I’ll probably be firing up halo, red dead, or fallout a fair bit.

I’ve built a pretty decent PC but still find myself on the couch with my Xbox more than at my desk on my PC. Likely because I spend 12 hours a day at that desk on the grind anyway...

Xbox. Started with the Xbox 360 with the Batman Arkham games, Halo 3 and 4, and Assassin's Creed. Then got the Xbox One and got into Halo 5, BO3 and BO4, RDR2, and recently Star Wars BF2. Recently got the new MLB The Show game for the first time on Xbox and looking into getting the new console. Never really played on PlayStation so I can't really compare. But the biggest upside for me to the Xbox is that they have Halo.

Honestly I only ever played sports games lol my mom didn’t like the idea of me playing shooter games as a kid and it kind of stuck with me. Even now, I have COD for PS5 but I rarely play it. I stick to 2K. But to answer your question, I would say Watch Dog and The Nathan Drake games were awesome. GTA San Andreas and Midnight Club probably take the crown for the best games on PS.

PC, and because of that I might lean Playstation for the exclusive titles. If I didn't have a gaming PC I would say Xbox for sure but I can cross-play most titles as it stands. Switch is actually pretty underrated with some really good titles, and actually I only own a Switch at the moment because the other consoles are still sold out.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

Nice dude.

D2 and D3 are huge favourites of mine. Maxed all classes across all expansions on both. D2 Druid is my favourite. They're re-mastering D2 right now which I'm pumped for - D3 was good but didn't feel as fun as D2 did to me. Maybe cause I was like 12 when I was playing D2

For MCC... H3 or Reach? Been a few mentions of MCC in this thread. wonder if I've ever come across anybody here

Yeah, Diablo 3 is trash compared to D2, so I know you're an OG. 4 players instead of 8, no custom games (new Bnet sucks), items bind on equip so trading is useless, and everything revolves around getting more DPS. I think the devs know that though, and hopefully D4 is more of a combination of good graphics, smooth gameplay, and with more D2 like elements.

MCC I've been playing Reach more. I didn't play it on release because I had graduated college and had a lot going on, so I played for the first time in quarantine. Great story and fun multiplayer. I prefer the grab bag game modes like CTF etc. compared to the one shot, one kill SWAT modes. For some reason even on PC it seems smoother to play with a controller rather than M/KB. I know it's sacrilege but it really feels different compared to a game like CS:GO or Warzone.

Seems like we can field an entire Halo team just in this thread.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.
