Schwab FCA to Other Financial Careers

Alright so I'm nearing the end of my undergraduate career, getting a BS in Economics, however my passion is to go somewhere in the financial industry. I currently have strong interest from Charles Schwab to enter their Financial Consultant Academy, but they have also offered their Associate Financial Service Professional position, which seems more like a call center job. Would this be a good place to start and then try to jump elsewhere after I gain some experience and my licences. For reference the FCA gives me the Series 7 and 66, Financial Professional pays for my Series 7 and 63. Thanks!
