2-hour lunch with partners at a sponsor - help pls!

Monkeys,

Context: I am an associate at a DL shop and tomorrow I am going to a lunch with my MD. The lunch is at a michelin star place and is scheduled for 2 hours with two partners at a MF PE sponsor.

I feel totally out of my depth and have no idea what to expect. 2 hours seems super long but I suppose it's an origination lunch. Usually these would be a 30 minute zoom call to discuss the opportunity therefore I'm not sure if I should prep anything or be ready for certain topics - any tips on how to prepare and what to expect?

Look up where they are from / where they went to school. From there you can figure out what NFL / college football/baksetball teams they could be fans of. Do some quick research on how those teams are doing and boom that’s like 15/20 minutes of ball talk right there. Obviously if u have no ball knowledge don’t do this.
