2023 Interview Etiquette

What is interview etiquette in 2023 with interviews now returning to be in person? Has it changed from pre-covid?

  • Suit and tie still reccomended (in PE/ HF)?
  • Do you bring printed copies of your resume?
  • Are you still expected to call in a sick day to come in for interviews or modelling tests?
  • Anything else that's changed (or not)?

I don't know about calling in sick, but I would look at suit and tie and printed resume like this:

There are people that care what you wear and will knock you for not wearing a tie. There are people that want you to bring a resume and will knock you for not doing so.

Nobody will knock you for wearing a tie. Nobody will knock you for bringing printed copies of your resume.

QED you lose nothing by wearing a tie and bringing your resume.
