2026 FT PE Recruiting
Haven’t found many threads on here about this - I know apps will open late spring and interviews over the summer but has anyone who has actually gone through this process have some insight?
For context, I am a junior at a target that is an incoming SA at a top BB. I have a decent GPA but not the best (aiming for 3.8 by end of spring) and am not sure where to start in terms of recruiting. Is this done by headhunters as well? Should I still network with alums even though some firms say not to network with their investors??
You have to do soft networking. Reach out to alums at these firms and talk to them.
Are people still available to flag my resume like to IB recruiting?
I doubt any associates will even respond to your emails unless you have a personal connection (same fraternity / mutuals), but with VP and above they definitely can and will if you reach out.
How do you know???
So just to clarify, VPs and above are MORE receptive to networking for a full-time position that Associates? Why is that? What about analysts for MF programs?
