90 minutes interview with an interviewer from a PE Firm..

Hi all, I had an initial 20-minute screening call with a principal from the firm, and it ended with the guy telling me the next step would be a detailed interview. Lo behold, he send me an invite for a 90 minutes interview...yes, with him! should I ask him if this is an error? I am already exhausted thinking about it...and if it really is a 90 minute interview, what should I expect? My background is in PE and IBD..

I do not get the problem with that. I would say that is quite common. I once applied for an internship at small buyout firm and had a screening phone call lasting 90 minutes and then an in-person meeting lasting roughly 4h (same guy and one additional associate).
