Hey guys,
Does anyone know of any PE funds with a significant agribusiness presence? Specifically in grain distribution?

Career Resources
Possibly Proterra Partners out of Minneapolis. They spun out of Cargill's Black River Asset Management funds.
Paine Schwartz Partners does a lot of work in the space
In addition to those listed above:
Arlon Group - established by Continental Grain Company Tilia Holdings Tillridge Capital Partners Rural American Fund ADM Capital AGR Partners
Good list. OP, I'd start with this group. They are one of the best in the space.
Unsure how OP intends to use this info so this could be irreverent but I believe AGR Partners is funded 100% by TIAA and therefore doesn't raise from other institutional investors. Correct me if i'm mistaken.
Banks that Deal with Agriculture and Agribusiness (Originally Posted: 05/24/2018)
Hello! I am currently an undergraduate majoring in Finance and Accounting. I originate from a family of farmers in the Midwest and have an inclination to be extremely interested in related industries. Are there any large IBs that have groups specifically target toward the Agribusiness and Agriculture industry? I don't want to trade commodities but would love to somehow include my background and love for technical finance in my upcoming career. It seems quite niche and I haven't found much with a preliminary google search. Any advice?
Does Credit Agricole? sounds like agriculture?
maybe Rabobank too...think they do bunch of that.
This is very helpful I will look into those firms. Thanks.
I know this is late, but Piper has an Ag & Renewables group.

Which BB or MM IBs are best for Agribusiness M&A?
Kind of a random sector, any particular reason you're looking into it?
Personal experience/expertise/interest
Goldman has an office in Wichita, Kansas that seems pretty sizable....I would also look into MS in Cheyenne, Wyoming...
Where are those branches noted online?
Look in the cornfields, they are not online.....Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
