AI tool for processing CIMs, and financial modeling

Hey all,

As we know, reviewing CIMs is time consuming. I'm working on software powered by LLMs that can read these documents for you, do the due diligence, and help you create models based on the CIMs you select.

Currently, it's working great to understand the CIM (including images, charts, screenshots), and extract the desired data into a financial model using via an excel add-in.

The overall idea is that by having AI process these CIMs, and help you with the financial modeling process, you save tons of time, and can focus on the important things.

1. How long does it take you to process CIMs, and make a decision? Is this a big time consumer for you?

2. What financial models do you create with the CIMs?

3. Even if not currently possible, what are some work-flows of private equity you wish could be automated/improved?

Would love to hear thoughts on the idea, and insight on the questions above.
