Altamont Capital? Not much information online
Does anyone know anything about Altamont? There isn't that much info on them available on here or on other sites.
Is it hard to get an internship there?
How are they regarded in the PE world? How do Any other insights/info/thoughts would be appreciated.

Not sure what you are looking for here. Highly regarded in marketplace. Great senior team of ex Golden Gate Capital guys. They have historically hired consultants. It's a great shop - strong reputation though relatively new, good returns (judging by fundraising success) and solid talent (judging by reputation of founders and team background)

They recruit on my campus so I am looking into applying there next year.
In addition to them being well regarded, they also likely have a pretty interesting culture. I took a look at their website awhile ago. It looks like they also have a few former professional athletes (NFL, MLB) and high level college athletes as associates.
