Haven't heard of them myself, but first fund was $428mm and closed in 2008, so likely did quite well buying distressed capital assets at good discounts.
Second fund was $722mm on a $600mm target and closed in 2012. They are out raising fund III now.
Stats are probably skewed because of the model which invests in heavy capital assets, rather than your typical PE fund.
