Analyst vs Associate title
So I was just offered a job at a small west coast VC firm (roughly $100M fund), however, I have a few concerns about the job title - I was offered an Analyst position, rather than Associate. I'm wondering how much this will effect my future prospects of moving to a new fund at an Associate or Sr. Associate level? Their reasoning for giving me the analyst title is that I am still pre-mba. I'm clearly more experienced than most other analysts (typically they are out of undergrad), though I do see some analysts at some mega VCs that are much more experienced. Anyone have any thoughts on this? The firm seems to be great and they do many deals with lots of the classic sand hill rd. firms.
Thanks
