Brio Asset Management Internship — Role, Compensation, and Value vs Traditional PE?
I received an offer for Brio’s Asset Management Summer 2027 internship and would appreciate any insight from people familiar with the program.
What does the day-to-day work typically involve, and what is the expected hourly pay or total summer compensation? I’m also curious about the firm’s reputation, training, return-offer prospects, and exits into real estate acquisitions or REPE.
My alternative is a traditional private equity internship with more direct deal exposure. If I may ultimately want to pursue REPE, would Brio’s real estate experience be worth choosing, or would traditional PE still provide the stronger overall foundation and optionality?
