The majority of the Analysts want to do PE. They always exit very well, have seen this year a few of the juniors that went to MF PE. Think Advent, BainCap, etc.

A good number of them also stay. I mean why wouldn't they? They have the brand name, get paid top of the street and always 100% bonus with decent hours.

Tbh it is the exit op……OP. Why would want to work more hours for an extra 5k ish after tax? 

More operational, you become more of an investor as you are actually taking risk, and when carry hits its actually a significant difference. Also, if you want to do something after high finance, then PE will open more doors..
