CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT --> PE FUNDs--H O W T O

Hallo

I did an internship in ventures, trying to get into an off-cycle PE firm this summer. WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO DISCUSS ON MY RESUME AND COVER LETTER to get in?

I've done a fuck-ton of financial modeling. While I'm probably not God's gift to SOTPs, I am better than most interns from college and feel I 'can' do the work (as, in I have, just fine, at other shops). The problem is IDFK how to frame my CorpDev/'synergies-hunter" work with "Assets be stable, long-term holds and will eventually be sold off". How do I get into PE as an intern?

TYSM.
