Comp is good, but culture and performance is lacklustre to say the least. However, I do think it’s worth leaving audit for them but not sure id stick around for long. If you want more info on what they actually do, look at the new bbg article about them.

Thankss!! Debating as currently I’m a senior associate in audit so would start as analyst there given havent ever worked in PE. Would u agree its a good way to break into finance?

 

Yeah, I think it is considering the current market environment. Obviously, the "ideal" way to break into high finance is investment banking but the lateral market in Canada is not looking good so I would definitely take this offer. Good luck!
