Difficulty for changing vertical in PE at associate / Sr associate level?
Hi monkeys,
2nd year coverage analyst with an offer to join a tech PE UMM, but wondering how easy it is to lateral industries at the junior levels in case I find out tech investing isn't for me.
For context currently in a tech group at a BB, but have an interest in more consumer facing investing roles such as CRG and Internet instead of Software focus and want to see how open the door will be if I start out in a tech fund.
