Diligence Work Plan?
Tl;dr. What is your process for developing a diligence work plan?
A little about me: I’m about to make senior associate on a tech buyout team. I’ve been given increased autonomy on deals, but haven’t managed more than a couple of execution workstreams at a time. The partners are distant from day-to-day execution, and there has been an exodus of senior VPs over the last couple of years, which leaves me relying on newer MBA VPs. Unfortunately, they haven’t been particularly helpful, and I was told to expect responsibility over the work plan on my next deal. Plz help.
