Distressed / Special Sit at Entry Level: Help with Career Guidance // London

Hey folks.

I’m interested in distressed / special sit route and ideally would want to kickstart the career in restructuring. It may not seem so from the history of my posts (because I’m literally just looking for ways to get into the industry full-time in the first place), but if you were to advise someone on how to begin the career in a way that would perfectly position me for distressed / special sit exit what would you recommend at entry level given that there aren’t many restructuring roles open at all? Which way would you suggest going? Traditional M&A? LevFin? Credit Risk?

Overall, I’m also curious to hear how those of you currently in distressed PE/HFs started your career at entry-level?
