Divulging PE Offer's Relationship with Potential IB Layoff

Hi everyone - I am a 2nd/3rd year investment banking analyst at a BB (not GS) with a UMM PE offer for summer 2023. Would telling my group (informing staffer as well) of my offer make me more or less likely to get laid off before the end of my contract?

Appreciate any advice or tips!

I really don't see how it helps you. If anything, I would think the bank says "well, this guy is gone in a few months anyhow, let's axe him now". I don't see how this affects the bank's relationship with any of the funds - layoffs are happening everywhere so someone has to be culled. These short term, recession based measures aren't going to affect any long term relationships.
