Easiest PE Interviews

Kind of a joke/kind of a rant as I write this on < 2 hours of sleep for the 3rd day this week...

I work at a well-respected BB, even for recruiting, but on a team that does not support it (not to the point where they'll cut analysts going for it, but if they get word of it, you can expect 3-5 new staffings that day...). Been trying to recruit for last 2yrs but getting destroyed by seniors/mid levels who even suspect that i'm looking to recruit

I've made it pretty far along at several reputable processes over the last 4-6months, but i'm sick of mid levels/seniors purposely screwing me over cause they hear i might be interviewing leaving me literally zero time to even prep apart from my (not respected) day off and the brief time after work at night before i pass tf out. It's not even that i fail the technicals or can't do the model/case studies - I've passed these rounds previously at a couple respective funds over the last  few months and generally make it past first round or two in processes, only to get dinged even in simpler processes just cause I have little or no time to prep or even look at the firm's portcos or learn about a deal the fund did or have to reschedule and make myself look like an idiot lmao...

So my question is what are some reputable (honestly not even a total requirement) PE shops where the process is a joke. Literally. I mean like 1-3 30-45min interviews max, no multiple round nonsense, light technicals if any, and honestly no model or case study even. Is this only in the LMM and shitty MMs? Do these even exist at all? any thoughts/insight would be appreciated

idk maybe i just lateral somewhere else lol

Not even MM / LMM will have an interview process like this. If anything, smaller firm interview processes tend to be longer and more comprehensive than the typical rushed on-cycle process

Only situation I can think of with this kind of interview process is if you are getting brought over by a former colleague who knows you and your work product extremely well

MFs usually have the easiest interview processes imo, outside of technical firms like Apollo. More uniform, more corporate. The smaller firms go crazy with technicals and case studies sometimes.

But there are no firms that have an easy / nontechnical process. They all have at least a model test.

Is this barclays/ Goldman? Have heard bad things re: recruiting from both.
