If you’re a sophomore recruiting for junior with BX Core+ team you are set
For that specific role I don't have a ton of data other than the thread below. I don't think BX would be a bad choice as a career start in general, but it doesn't seem like it would gear you toward a traditional REPE career. That said, the guys doing portfolio reporting and management at BX still do fine, and there's more than one way to make money in the industry.
