Exit Opps from Top Special Situations / Opportunistic Funds

Where do associates at top funds (Apollo Hybrid Value, Blackstone Tactical Opportunities, Sixth Street, Oaktree) typically exit to? What sort of options do they have given the unique associate experience they will have? Does this type of investing open up more options given it can take so many forms or does it prevent specialization and close exits to typical PE routes

I think it's pretty broad and pretty dependent on what the individual decides to do. Have seen a couple people from BX Tac Ops go to distressed HF and others to MM pe like AmSec/NMC, so looks like it just depends on how you spin your story
