Finding the time to interview

Hi fellow monkeys,

Wondering how people manage to find time to interview at multiple firms when work is consistently intense? Looking for some tips and tricks, and/or general comfort that others are going through the same struggle..

For context, I'm a consultant and my projects at work have been pretty long (9am-2am most days, with no downtime during the day). I tried interviewing with a PE firm at the same time, and got through to final round mostly by interviewing at weekend / making up long doctor's trips, and now feel completely burnt out.

yeah i basically blocked out 10pm - 2am for studying and woke up at 6am to potentially study before work for a stretch... i don't consider myself the most diligence person but it was a window of opportunity that i didn't want to fully pass up

honestly there's not really a great way if you work on a time-intensive project

i remember a lot of analysts would just drop the ball and be unresponsive during the stretches that they had a ton of interviews
