Top 3 ranked returns for 3 years in a row now (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/hec-paris-dowjones-2022-large-130000462…) Everyone who goes to B school seems to go to Stanford. Great AUM to headcount ratio and would assume pay reflects that.
what is comp like? 350s for ASO1?
Not sure but would be surprised. I think only H&F, Apollo, and Centerbridge pay 350k or above for ASO1
ASO1 pay is $330k total, $170k base
AUM to headcount is a meaningless metric
God people who confidently say wrong things like this are the worst part of this website, finance in general, maybe even life
who is the HH?
Was Ratio as of a year ago
here's a question - there's this guy who was a GS analyst then went to Francisco for 2 years for an associate. after that, went back to GS as an associate as well for another couple years... puzzles me as to why GS seemed to neglect that experience all together? i've always thought FP was top as well on the buyside but don't get why a BB would totally discount that buyside experience when someone goes bank to banking
I doubt they brought that person on as an AS0 at the bank? IMO should've given full 2 (or 3) years credit, which I've seen done before
it was basically AS0 since they did 4 years as Associate then went to another BB to join as VP
why would someone go back to banking tho? is comp similar?
Anyone have any thoughts they could add on the analyst program for the firm?
