From PE Fund Accounting/Portfolio Reporting to Amazon RE Acquisitions

So I’m going into my last step - loop interview for an industrial acquisitions role for Amazon. I currently work for a large REPE firm in fund accounting/portfolio reporting.

I’m curious if this is a solid move. I want to work in acquisitions and feel like this would give me solid groundwork for this. I’ve been trying to transfer internally for a while now and furthest I’ve gotten is portfolio analytics.

I’m a year deep into my RE Masters program at a well known school.

Pay is much better which is also great.

Open to all thoughts.

Thanks.
