Never heard of them but based on their website they are a broker and not a principal. Certainly they are not a private equity fund in the sense of making large long-term, control/influence investments.

I really doubt they are a hedge fund. Their site emphasizes that they provide liquidity and execution services. They are a broker, not a manager.
