How does hiring work after a new fund raise?
I imagine after a new fund is raised, new seniors/ juniors will need to be hired to manage this (find new deals, close said deals and manage portcos). If a new fund is confirmed in month 0, how long till HHs start looking for people?
What I've seen is that it does impact hiring decisions, but that starts prior to fundraising (or at the front end of it) so that you can signal to LPs you're staffed up to deploy more capital. This is more true if the new fund is materially larger.
